YouTube thinks Shadowbans are fun.

YouTube just can’t help themselves with the censorship pre-election. It always happens when something happens in the political sphere, and affects everyone in the YouTube ecosystem — even though you have nothing to do with politics in the YouTube sphere. People think this is a joke, and go like “Oh, no it’s not because of this, and that.” Bro, unless you’ve seen what transpired during my plight, please keep your comments to yourself. Today, we’ll talk about shadowbans, and what happened afterwards.

CarlosX720’s channel was needlessly shadowbanned! [Article]

I’ve linked the article above this embed, so I’ll just talk about the aftermath. As you’ll see in the next video, I posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), that the shadowban was going on. And YouTube responded with a textbook response, like an AI wrote it. Almost like they didn’t even read the article, and/or my comments on X. YouTube doesn’t realize that the algorithm does shadowban its creators, either that or it doesn’t want to tell anyone about it. So, creators have to walk on eggshells — while YouTube’s PR and marketing team continues to say “We support our creators!” Bullshit. Y’all shadowbanning people for almost any reason, stupid reasons, ridiculous reasons, and then you expect us to believe you.

I finished Final Fantasy VII Remake after the video and article went live. Since then, I got hundreds, and hundreds of thousands of views. But that was shortlived…

CarlosX720 got shadowbanned …again (via copyright)

I started Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and it was going just fine. I got a copyright claim or two here, and continue to get it since. But they don’t affect the channel, at least that’s what the tag says. That’s not what happened afterwards, though. I got shadowbanned, again. I’ve deleted videos before, and got into what I call the “shadow realm.” I bounced back, but recently, I got a new situation ongoing as I post this.

CarlosX720 is now in the shadow realm (shadow banned …again)

Usually, when I post gameplay videos, it’s directly from the PlayStation 5 console itself. I’ve deleted videos that I deemed in error before, and I got shadowbanned. Right now, I’m not currently getting views on my channel despite how popular Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is currently.

Okay, YouTube, I’ll play ball, and I’ll play the long game. Because I see opportunity with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth… Because Square Enix already has Final Fantasy VII Part 3 under development. Maybe Google and YouTube doesn’t like money. Whatever, communists.
